The Context

Sustainable growth requires a solid technological foundation.

For Groupe JSV, the challenge was twofold: keeping operations stable while preparing for the future. Their IT environment was reaching its limits, and security needs were increasing. A more structured approach to IT support had become necessary.

At the same time, a strategic initiative was underway: an ERP transition during a period of active growth.

Leadership was looking for predictability, availability, and better risk management.

The Challenges

The infrastructure originally relied on on-premises servers. This approach limited scalability and required constant attention.

The priorities were clear:

• Complete the ERP transition while minimizing disruptions to operations

We took a phased approach aligned with Groupe JSV’s business realities.

The goal was straightforward: secure the foundations first, then evolve the environment at the right pace.

Structuring IT Operations

Implementing managed IT services brought greater stability to the environment. Proactive monitoring and structured support improved day-to-day predictability and availability while reducing unplanned disruptions.

Securing the Environment

Cybersecurity was built into daily operations, not treated as an afterthought. The approach focused on consistent, right-sized protection for an SMB, with clear IT governance and practices aligned with applicable requirements, including Quebec’s Law 25.

Evolving the Infrastructure

The mandate included an ERP transition and the migration of Groupe JSV’s SAP Business One hosting environment.

Over the course of a few years, the infrastructure moved from on-premises servers to a private cloud, improving platform stability and availability. Then, to support continued growth and increase redundancy, the environment was migrated to Microsoft Azure, a public cloud platform.

Every transition was planned to preserve business continuity and support Groupe JSV’s strategic objectives.

Today, Groupe JSV’s IT environment supports the company’s growth with greater stability and scalability.
