Their IT environment was reaching its limits, and security needs were increasing. A more structured approach to IT support had become necessary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the same time, a strategic initiative was underway: an ERP transition during a period of active growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Leadership was looking for predictability, availability, and better risk management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Challenges<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The infrastructure originally relied on on-premises servers. Proactive monitoring and structured support improved day-to-day predictability and availability while reducing unplanned disruptions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Securing the Environment<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cybersecurity was built into daily operations, not treated as an afterthought. The approach focused on consistent, right-sized protection for an SMB, with clear IT governance and practices aligned with applicable requirements, including Quebec\u2019s Law 25.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Evolving the Infrastructure<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The mandate included an ERP transition and the migration of Groupe JSV\u2019s SAP Business One hosting environment.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Over the course of a few years, the infrastructure moved from on-premises servers to a private cloud, improving platform stability and availability.
